What Vue Infinite, from e-on Software, does for scenery and landscapes, it can also do for interiors: advanced lighting and environmental control.

I like Vue’s implementation of lighting aspects you have to master as a photographer. Ambient occlusion, radiosity, global illumination, fog and haze are just a small number of the many effects.

One of the most powerful features is selective control of influence. Lights may be restricted to certain elements. Nice, and that’s not something you can do in real scenes so it adds an extra layer of creativity.

It has Poser integration, but I don’t use it. I convert the materials, object and poses to be able to network render with their RenderCows. You can obtain the software from e-on software. It’s the natural 3d solution.
